Introducing Coterie, our 1 hour (ish) tasting sessions featuring a little education and a lot of inspiration where wine is accessible and sessions have a relaxed focus.  Coterie can be held in store at Barwon Heads Winestore and offsite (locally) for private bookings at your home or Air BnB.

Coterie at home: We bring everything you need, glasses,  wine and of course your Coterie menu with all your tasting wines available with your Coterie discount.

Coterie at Barwon Heads Winestore: Join us in store,  surrounded by wine and inspiration! We'll sit around around our shop table trying the wine and following your Coterie session, you'll have a 10% discount to spend on wine.

Alongside our private tasting sessions, throughout the year, we'll also present Coterie Events in store, showcasing women in wine, their brands and stories.

Why Coterie?

If you've ever just wanted to know a bit about the how and why of wine, or get some tips for reading wine lists and understanding wine types, Coterie is your easy, casual, wine place where chat and questions are welcomed.

We curate each session in line with your groups focus - maybe it's introducing varieties to help you discover some hidden gems or simply helping to update your go to wine selection. We can also plan Coterie sessions with clients about to travel and want a little head start on interpreting the holiday wine list.

Pricing is a per head cost starting at $40 per person, but can vary depending on the themes and varieties chosen or course, working within your budget.

How to plan your custom Coterie session:

• Gather your Coterie of around 8 friends
• Decide your tasting theme  (travel, wine variety etc)
• Work out where you'd like to host your Coterie - instore or at your place
• Get in touch to get the date set and we'll get the wines planned.

About Coterie.

Coterie is presented by Erena (Ren) Crowley and is designed to be an informal, relaxed hour of wine tasting. Our sessions are a chance to take an hour to yourself and to relax with friends and wine.

Currently studying for the WSET Diploma of Wine, Erena is also a French Wine Scholar.
